2019, You're Late

Firstly… I hope you’ve all had a glorious Christmas and a very merry New Year. Alex and I spent our new year’s drunk in the queue of Oceana after he had just been sick in my mates sink. Think of that how you will. But it was one of the best new years yet (As well as last year). I’ve been a bit MIA (missing in action) and I’m fully aware. But it’s probably true that so far this year I’ve had the best highlights and the worst low points of my year so far. I’ve started my new job and it’s the best decision I’ve made since I graduated, I L O V E  IT and everybody has been nothing but friendly. It’s the first job I’ve had where I actually am being the most inspired and creative that I can possibly be, enabled by amazing people and an amazing company. I’m so excited for my future there and have such a good feeling of settlement already. Besides, as we all know, last year was trial and error.  I’ve been stressed because of all the changes but this is my year I’m tellin...

Five May Must Haves

Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk

The sun is out, finally, and we’re all heading for our annual dose of vitamin D top-up. However, with being possibly the palest girl even in the UK I like to speedily hurry along my sun-kissed glow with Bondi- Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk. It’s low maintenance, streak- free and smells delicious. What’s not to love?! A few appliances over a couple of days with a tanning mit and before you know it my skin tone has gone from cold to gold.

The Balm Cosmetics- ‘The Manizer Sisters’

I’d like to introduce my good friends, Mary- Lou (for my paler girls and boys), Cindy- Lou (for those with a warmer skin tone) and Betty- Lou (for those with a dark skin). All part of The Manizer Sister’s, highlighting triple threat. The Balm Cosmetics have always been my favourite go- to for highlighters but have now recently brought out all three as a triple pallet. A couple of strokes and dabs and the sun will be beaming off of those cheek-bones and cupid-bows.
Wearing Mary- Lou

Tangerine Dream

Summer has begun and the beverages have started flowing (whatever your tipple may be…) and what better way to drink than out of a disco-ball orange and stalk-straw? Found in Flying Tiger, Copenhagen. After questioning myself if I really needed this and whether this would be a wise investment of a grand £3, I decided a confident ‘yes it is’.

Beach with a budget

Almost every weekend off I would be spending my afternoons to and from the beach, so I decided to pick up some bikini’s and swim-wear in Primark. I was surprised by just how amazingly varied their stock was for girls of all shapes and sizes in almost every colour and design, and equally just as amazed at their low prices varying from £2 upwards.

Festival and Party Vibes

It’s that time of the year that festivals, events, parties and fancy-dress all begin for the summer months and what a better way to dress up a look or style than with some face glitter and gems. Frankly between my girls it’s any excuse for a glitter pot and some eyelash glue, but this summer Missguided, Pretty Little Thing and Boohoo are all out-doing themselves with the prettiest colours and styles yet.
