2019, You're Late

Firstly… I hope you’ve all had a glorious Christmas and a very merry New Year. Alex and I spent our new year’s drunk in the queue of Oceana after he had just been sick in my mates sink. Think of that how you will. But it was one of the best new years yet (As well as last year). I’ve been a bit MIA (missing in action) and I’m fully aware. But it’s probably true that so far this year I’ve had the best highlights and the worst low points of my year so far. I’ve started my new job and it’s the best decision I’ve made since I graduated, I L O V E  IT and everybody has been nothing but friendly. It’s the first job I’ve had where I actually am being the most inspired and creative that I can possibly be, enabled by amazing people and an amazing company. I’m so excited for my future there and have such a good feeling of settlement already. Besides, as we all know, last year was trial and error.  I’ve been stressed because of all the changes but this is my year I’m tellin...

Blogmas: Giftspiration

Last minute giftspiration can be a tough cookie, especially with so many different brands and promotional deals being hurled at you through clever strategies and media. I suppose buying a gift for someone to begin with is its own inspiration, you want to treat someone who has meant a lot to you in the past year. I was going to do blogmas about budget and luxury gift ideas but actually it’s so personal. The person should be their own inspiration, for example when searching for Alex I thought about everything we’ve achieved together in the last year, inside jokes and experiences, what he enjoys, what he needs and what he has mentioned and dropped hints about.

Buying a gift for someone shouldn’t be as hard as is made out, because naturally they should be close to you and if they are difficult to buy for because they’re picky… do they even deserve a present if they’re not going to be grateful?

Go to a busy town, city, Christmas Market with an idea about their interests or aspirations and then just enjoy the Christmas buzz. It is supposed to be enjoyable, so… enjoy!
